SKSS F5J Event - July 16, 17 2022

• This is an ESL event and will be conducted in accordance with FAI F5J rules with modifications
• Modification to 5J rule is approved limiters. We will allow ALES units set to the pilots desired height. If using and ALES limiter, 10 percent will be added to the launch height. 100, 150 or 200 meters will be recorded as 110, 165 or 220 meters, respectively, as the launch height.
• Each model flown must be equipped with an approved F5J limiter or ALES unit
• ALES launch height can be changed each round and the appropriate value recorded
• Motor restarts will be allowed but will result in a zero flight
• Camping is NOT allowed on the field
• Field open for fun flying and warm-ups on Friday, July 15, 2022
• F5J tasks on Saturday and Sunday will be scored as one continuous event
• Participants can choose to fly for a single day, but final results are based on two days of flying
• Awards for 1-3 places
• There will be no Fly-offs
• Entry fee $55, $30 for single day
• No lunch will be provided. Bring your own lunch
• Pilots meeting 8:30 am Saturday and Sunday
• ESL Flying awards to be handed out between 2:30 and 3:00 pm on Sunday
• Registration for the event is located at flyesl.org
