Good evening ESL!!
I have uploaded the draft 2014 ESL Competition Schedule. Please take a look at it and provide me with any comments. I would like to get confirmations from the CDs of all the contests (I will be working with the CDs on this). This schedule will remain "draft" until January 1st. At that time, we will lose the "draft" but still permit limited changes until April 1st, 2014.
In summary, we don't fly on Mother's Day, Father's Day, Memorial Day or Labor Day. We also schedule around the NATS and keep an off-weekend between ESL Unlimited contests and have a total of 11 competition weekends! Wooo hoo! Also note that pilots could get 8 ESL contest days BEFORE Memorial Day weekend (dress warm!).
LETS GO ESL!!!!
Thanks, Josh.

What are the plans for ALES in 2014? I was planning on having an electric contest at the AC Skyblazers field on Sept 13-14. It's in between two TD contests. |

Nice to see Palmyra PA in there. I think it is becoming Vixen territory :-} |

Dave Beach is handling the ALES (I mean Electric Sailplane) division of the ESL. I think the plan is to have ES events in between the Unlimiteds.
Thanks, Josh. |

Palmyra needs to withdraw. I am hoping that they can join the fun at some point. Stay tuned and pull for Jeff Sandford!
Thanks, Josh. |
