I sent this idea to Anker who felt the scoring system could handle it.
I had an idea to add some special interest at the ESL contests. Is there a way to tag, in the scoring program, what type of plane the pilot is flying?
While this would have nothing to do with thier ESL standing I would find it fun if we could identify who is flying RES. This would be sort of the contest within the contest.
Again, this would not in any way contribute to the ESL contest standing for the day, the weekend or the season. But it could make it more interesting for the RES flyers.
Maybe, at some future date, we could have a RES class within the overall class. Could make the contests more attractive to those who fly RES only.
I am always thinking, always making trouble.
