If you are currently flying any kind of gliders, how did you get started?
I was flying electric parkflyers, but there were guys in the club flying 2&3m gliders, so I though I would try it. I got a Great Planes Spirit Select RTF that came all built with a Hobbico ( Hitec ) 3 channel AM radio already installed. Added a hi-start. That was 2 1/2 years ago.
After one of the club glider guiders helped me understand how to launch with a hi-start, I was on my way.
Now I fly 70% gliders and 30% parkflyers.
